What you'll learn
- Use the correct line type for every line you draw, and read what another draughtsperson's lines are claiming
- Construct bisections, perpendiculars, polygons, tangents and fillets accurately with compasses and a straight edge
- Lay out and read third-angle orthographic working drawings, including hidden detail, centre lines, dimensions and sections
- Work in first angle for solid geometry and civil drawing, and explain why the two conventions place views differently
- Find the true shape of a sectioned solid, and set out a single-storey foundation-to-slab plan to scale
