Properties of 3D Objects
≈ 15 min3D objects take up space. We describe them by their faces, edges and vertices:
- a face is a flat surface;
- an edge is a line where two faces meet;
- a vertex is a corner point where edges meet.
A cube has faces, edges and vertices. Other common objects are the rectangular prism (box), cylinder, cone, sphere and pyramid.
