2D shapes are flat. We describe them by their number of sides and angles.

Triangles (3 sides) come in kinds: equilateral (all sides equal), isosceles (two sides equal) and scalene (all sides different). A triangle with a square corner is right-angled.

Quadrilaterals (4 sides) include the square, rectangle, rhombus, parallelogram and trapezium. Shapes with more sides are named too: a pentagon has 55, a hexagon has 66.
